The Hootie and the Blowfish Foundation
|
| The Hootie and the Blowfish Foundation was created in 2000 to help improve education in South Carolina and support school music programs nationwide. The
Foundation's goal is to help make a difference in the lives of young children by helping them realize their potential. In 2003 the South Carolina-based quartet created an annual musical event in South Carolina aimed at helping school aged children. They asked concertgoers to help fill up a School Bus with everyday school supplies and enjoy a great concert.
The year 2006 the concerts school supply fund raisers were held in other
Carolina Counties.
Hootie & The Blowfish Band Members: Mark Bryan (lead guitar), Dean Felber (bass guitar), Darius Rucker (lead vocals), and Jim
"Soni" Sonefeld (drums) |

In photography it's said lighting is everything... My
singing friends tell me the sound man can make or break you. It takes
someone who knows what they are doing to make the best sound and look
perfect. So hear's praise to Draughon
Brothers from North Carolina who came down and spent 3 days working
on making things perfect for this event! |
