One
of the goals of RealCharleston.com is to not only tell you why the Charleston
area is so great but to show you through photography and small Historical
commentary the variety of the community areas that are available.
Some folks move to the area to realize shortly after moving here they
would have preferred a different location within the Charleston area that
provided them more opportunity to do the things they love to do.
For example, some move to James Island and discover they like the
beaches on Isle of Palms better or vice a versa.
Some move to find a rural area and later discover the lands
around them are not protected from major development.
Beaches
are not the only thing Charleston has to offer.
The Francis Marion Forrest occupies a great deal of lower Berkeley County
offering great hiking and biking trails, camping and many other outdoor
activities. One of the fast growing
areas is Cainhoy/Wando, with waterfront or near water opportunities to live.
My
hope is that you discover the Charleston area and fall in love with it as I
have. Enjoy the website and Thank you for viewing
Real Charleston.
